About us

As more is understood about autism and ADHD, increasing numbers of diagnoses are being made.

Waiting times for assessments on the NHS are long and funding remains challenging. The tendency of neurodivergent people to learn how to mask their differences and adapt their lives to deal with their neurodivergence, can mean their difficulties are overlooked

Sometimes, a new job or other life change which makes it more difficult to mask symptoms in quite the same way, encourages people to seek help. As waiting lists continue to grow, private assessments for those able to self-fund become increasingly attractive.

Our Services

After being approached regularly by adults keen to self-fund an assessment, we decided to offer these assessments privately so that an expert service, delivered by NHS-trained professionals, will be available in South West London (Hampton Wick, near Kingston Upon Thames). The service is delivered through an independently run subsidiary of Your Healthcare CIC, the organisation responsible for providing NHS autism assessments in Kingston-upon-Thames and Richmond. Any financial surpluses will be invested back into community health and social care services.

Our approach

  • We offer a gold standard face-to-face service, using NHS trained professionals and national (NICE) guidance.
  • All our psychologists are registered psychologists with several years’ relevant experience.
  • We offer face-to-face appointments as clients have told us this offers the best forum in which to discuss sensitive and personal issues, in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere.
  • We use a team approach; assessment results have input from a number of experts, they are never agreed by a single clinician.
  • Our team has ongoing training and we adopt new national guidance and best practice as soon as it is published.
  • The waiting time for an appointment is usually around 14 days and we can usually provide initial feedback on the same day as the assessment. We will respond to your initial enquiry within two working days.
  • Following an assessment, reports are usually made available with four weeks.
  • We operate from consulting rooms in Hampton Wick, South West London, a 2-minute walk from Hampton Wick rail station (South Western Railways: 2 minutes from Kingston-Upon-Thames, 14 minutes from Wimbledon, 16 minutes from Richmond-Upon-Thames and 28 minutes from Putney). Parking is available.
  • Our gold-standard face-to-face assessments cost the same, if not less, than some online-only services.
